So Long, Malaga Mission. Hey, Barcelona Mission.

'Sup!

So, uh, I'm now in the Barcelona Mission. It doesn't feel too different, honestly. We have a conference with our new president tomorrow, so then things will be a little more official and whatnot. This week was pretty average, but I'm not complaining. I'm doing a little more solid now.

On Monday we had a fun little trip to Mazarrón with the other elders and some members. A member named Cristobol (I see him as a Spanish Hagrid) took us to a fort across the port of Cartagena that has these giant artillery gun emplacements that are open to the public. There were also a bunch of unlit tunnels underneath that require flashlights to navigate, so we brought flashlights! One lead to the inner-workings of the bigger cannon. It was awesome! From there, Cristobol dropped us off in Mazarrón and we hung out with a big family that lives there and the hermanas in our district. We had permission from President Andersen to stay for a family home evening with said family. It was fun! And also a good handoff because the hermanas will now have Mazarrón in their area.

Tuesday, Andrea and Jesús had us over to say goodbye to Elder Clark. No extraordinary bodily effects followed this time, thank goodness. I said goodbye to Elder Clark around noon the next day, and stayed in a trio with Elder Burnard as an elder in the other district awaited his companion. It was a complicated evening and I don't have the drive to write much beyond that, so long story short, Elder Burnard and I had our zone leader (not the previously mentioned elder) stay the night since he still had to wait for his companion as well. Most of Thursday was spent with Elder De La Rosa as he continued waiting for his companion. We are in the constant process of cleaning, decluttering, and moving things out of the old apartment of the other elders. That being said, we did a lot of that over the last couple of days. On Saturday we helped with a move that took the whole morning and wiped us out physically for the rest of the evening. Even in Cartagena I can't avoid helping out with moves. But it's all good! I enjoy providing physical labor as a service.

We're running a little low on people to teach right now, so we're in a finding-oriented phase of the work at the moment. It should be better with the new area boundaries; we now have a couple more neighborhoods under our stewardship to explore.

I'm going to be honest, this is a pretty bad email, but I'm sending a ton of pictures so hopefully that makes up for it.

Stay frosty,

Elder Jensen :)
